I love small shops (who doesn’t love supporting them? They have so many fun and unique things!) and one of the small shops I supported was Shop Leebrick. Shop Leebrick is a small shop based in Colorado which sells bath goods. The shop is run by Alicia Leebrick and her husband, Michael. Alicia and Michael have two daughters, with their youngest having PURA Syndrome, a genetic condition that causes intellectual disability and delayed developmental skills. Unfortunately, PURA Syndrome can lead to a lot of congenital defects as well. I love how Alicia made her products as a means to interact with her daughter as she is nonverbal. On a personal note, I have a younger brother with severe autism, and I love shops like this: born out of a desire to interact with people with disabilities.
Moving onto the products…I dropped quite a bit of money on Alicia’s shop as a way to support her, and this is what I got!
The first thing I got from Shop Leebrick was this Blue Raspberry Slushie body spray. This item is no longer available, but it smells exactly like a blue raspberry icee from 7-11 or the movie theater. It’s the perfect summer scent.
I got a Blue Raspberry Slushie Bath Bomb, which doesn’t have a strong smell, but it makes your bath the most beautiful royal blue.
I got this Cotton Candy Donut Bath Melt, which smells like cotton candy and turns your bath a pretty blue. Unfortunately, this product is also unavailable.
I got this Blue Raspberry Bath Truffle, which looks like a scoop of ice cream. This item is also unfortunately discontinued, but it melts pretty well and turns your bath into a blue raspberry haven.
I got this Berry Smoothie Fizzing Bath Salt, which turns the bath a pretty pink and smells pretty good. It’s fun to watch this dissolve in the running water.
I got the Unicorn Berries Shower Steamer, which, when unwrapped, is a plain white shower steamer that smells just like berries.
I got the Mermaid Sugar Scrub, which is equal parts gritty and oily, so it doesn’t scratch your skin but doesn’t make the tub an oil slick. It smells sugary sweet as well.
Alicia was kind enough to throw in this Pasadena Peach Lip Scrub, which makes my lips feel super soft and smooth. The lip scrub also smells really good, and has a great peach scent (not like the artificial peach scent that most bath products usually have).
I got this adorable Pink Wine Bubble Bath, which produces a good amount of bubbles-not too little but not too much that the bathroom is filled to the brim with foam.
I had to get this Rainbow bath bomb, which I haven’t used yet but when put in water produces a fun rainbow trail.
The last thing I got was this cute cupcake soap, which reminds me of another bath site I used to shop at.
Overall, I love how cute and how good everything smells. I’m worried because the shop has lost quite the number of products, but I’m hoping it’s because Alicia is coming up with new products.
